Designing Jessalyn and Spencer’s wedding was such a pleasure! I am still waiting for the professional pictures to come in, but thought I’d share a few in the meantime.
And a closeup:
For the boutonnieres, we kept the succulent and baby’s breath idea rolling:
It was pouring all day in Seattle, which is unusual for August. The picture above was taken under a large awning, but there was still lots of puddled water everywhere.
The groom’s bout – five different succulents.
And dahlia boutonnieres for the womenfolk.
Dahlias, Queen Anne’s Lace, baby’s breath, and greenery for the bridesmaids bouquets.
And inside, big balls of baby’s breath and dahlias on the tables and for the ceremony. The original plan for the ceremony was to be outside in an adjoining courtyard but the torrential rain forced us to move inside. Had we had more than a hour’s notice, I would have created a garland to cover the post in the middle of the ceremony backdrop, but we did what we could by covering the built in desk with linens and cut greens.
But what a pretty view of the shipping canal!
I can’t wait for pictures of Jessalyn with her bouquet!
