Modern Elopement Inspiration at San Francisco City Hall | Part II
Okay, back for A Tale of Two Bouquets, Part II. This part of the tale tells the story of how a change in color of a single element, here the bridal bouquet, can change the mood of an entire day.
For the second look, I created an all flower, no foliage bouquet in bright sherbet colors: coral, pink, peach, mustard, and blush. To create this look, we used garden roses, dahlias, coral charm peonies, scabiosa, and double fringed tulips. This bouquet brought a bright pop of color to the classic, neutral San Francisco City Hall space, but also felt right at home in the green fields of the Marin Headlands.
When we switched bouquets at City Hall, the mood of the whole shoot lightened. It became more flirty, more fun, and generally felt more festive. Not that we weren’t having fun with the black and white bouquet, but infusing color into the day brought an air of lightness and life that was refreshing.
