Seattle Courthouse Elopement with Blush and Mauve Spring Flowers
This is a special one for me because it is my sister’s wedding! Zoe and Geoff met while she was teaching kindergarten in Seattle and he was stationed on a submarine on the Kitsap Peninsula. After two years of dating, they decided on an intimate wedding with a strong focus on place. To honor their Pacific Northwest love story, they married atop the Seattle Courthouse, followed by cocktail hour in Pioneer Square, and a ferry ride across the water to their dinner at Pleasant Beach Manor House on Bainbridge Island.
We worked with Callista and Co. on the design to bring to life Zoe and Geoff’s vision of Pacific Northwest formal. Hailing from South Carolina, it was important to Geoff that the wedding feel formal, which informed his decision to wear a custom tuxedo, and we wove pops of black into the reception design. To bring romance and a hint of color, Zoe requested a soft blush and mauve color palette, with the dreamiest spring flowers. This formal yet contemporary design featured textured linens, decorative chargers and flatware, clean modern stemware, and hand crafted paper goods.
We did something a little crazy for photos at Pleasant Beach. To photograph the table in daylight, we set the table in the morning, then Callista packed it up and reset it later in the evening before we arrived back for dinner. I am always so grateful to work with a team as dedicated as Callista and Co. and Anna Peters!
Endless thanks to the talented team that came together for this day:
